In response to the tragic incident which occurred in Connecticut on Friday, December 14, 2012, PS/IS 327 would like to remind you of the General Response Protocol emergency procedures you can reinforce with your child to keep them safe at school. 

We held assemblies today with all students to remind them of their responsibilities during an emergency.  We will continue to conduct drills to prepare staff and students. Guidance support was on site and will be available throughout the week for students who need it.

There are three types of responses (Evacuate, Lockdown, or Shelter-In) that you can reinforce with your children which are outlined in the documents attached below.

Please direct questions and concerns to your child's teacher.  Thank you for your support and collaboration in keeping our students safe.
